I’d like to help in some way in the Tesero & Shell refineries, Anacortes, Wa., event and I’ve “checked” the things I can do. I’ll be out of town and unavailable the March 26-27 weekend—-from March 31-April 7th—-and May 5-12th. Otherwise, I’m 71 and retired, would like to help out, AND actually drive to Anacortes for some or all of the May 13-15 protest. HOWEVER, per the above, wife and I are out of town May 5-12th and I would have to know BEFORE we leave May 5 what’s going on and what I am to do. Thanks for any ‘advance’ info you can give me!
As of our meeting today, the specific action/s have not been finalized but certainly there will be those risking arrest by blockading and those there in support. The main thing is to demonstrate our numbers globally (there will be concurrent actions in many many locales) and build a powerful movement. Stay in touch and See you there! Dave
I’d like to come and bring my kayak to participate in the actions at Seafarer’s Park, but it’s not clear how we’re supposed to get there with our boats from the Deception Pass campground. Can you clarify?
